A TALE OF TWO WOMEN

She’s moved on, but he can’t take it.
She’s grown up but he won’t take that.
She won’t take any more crap from him.
She won’t stand his hovering over her.
Her life is different now, can’t he even notice?
Her life would be easier if only he noticed.
Why does he have to call and stalk her?
Why does he have to know what she’s up to and with whom?
How else will she explain to him that she’s forgiven him, something changed.
How long will she explain that she’s not that little anymore, things change!
They can’t work, and it’s no one’s fault.
They won’t always be together, and it’s not up to him.
She would rather be in another person’s arms now.
She would rather run to, cry and depend on another man now.
She knows it won’t be as before, but she’s ready to try.
She knows that it won’t be easy, but she’s willing to learn.
He was and still is her first love.
He is and always be her father.
